Our Story

Casa da Luz, meaning House of Light, was founded in 2025.

The idea was born after moving into my first home with my long-term partner and discovering how much the smallest rituals can shape the feeling of a space, creating moments of warmth and comfort amidst the chaos of everyday life.

What began as a personal passion for scent, atmosphere and intentional living gradually evolved into Casa da Luz.

Today, Casa da Luz creates refillable candles and thoughtfully designed homeware, inspired by the belief that home should be a place of comfort, connection and calm.

A 25-year-old Brazilian based in London, I hold a degree in Fashion Branding & Communication and am currently completing a Master's in Branding and Marketing Communications.

I am also the founder of RK Social, a creative boutique brand specialising in aesthetic and storytelling-driven content through content creation and social media management, I help brands build an intentional and memorable online presence.

Casa da Luz is where that passion meets my love for fragrance, beautiful details and the simple rituals that make a house feel like home.

Casa da Luz was created to celebrate the beauty of slowing down.

Each candle is hand-poured in small batches using vegan-friendly wax, while every vessel is designed to be refilled, reused and become part of the rituals that shape everyday life.

Thoughtfully crafted and intentionally made, each piece reflects the belief that home should be a place of comfort, connection and calm.
